...to Grandmother's house we go!
After all the snow melted we made our way to Atlanta, Georgia, to visit Harrison's grandmother or "Gigi" as we like to call her. This was Bragan's first time meeting his Gigi. It was such a fun and memorable visit. We ate, caught up with family, and played a few rounds of MadGab.

White (day after) Christmas
What a great Christmas gift...a beautiful blanket of snow! We had a blast playing in it. It was so much fun introducing Bragan to his first snow!
I think it is so funny looking at these pictures now...we thought this was a lot of snow! ...little did we know what was coming our way a few short weeks later!
It might have taken all the snow from the back yard, but they built a respectable snow man. I love that Maddie is wearing her dress shoes with her snow clothes. Always a classy little lady!

The Big Christmas Post
Christmas this year was FANTASTIC! We have so many wonderful blessings to be thankful for and we could not have had a more fun day. We celebrated Jesus' birthday and enjoyed a day FULL of family, food, and fun!
After opening presents at our house, we headed over to the Gray's to exchange gifts!
After we finished up at the Gray's, we all headed over to my parents' house to have Christmas dinner and exchange gifts. We are so blessed that our families get together on holidays. It is always a blast and our crowd continues to grow each year :)

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve was wonderful again this year. We went to our 20th (somewhere around there) annual Fisher/Alexander girls Christmas Eve lunch at Groucho’s. I am kicking myself for not getting any pictures! The four of us went to the 4pm Christmas Eve service at our church, Shandon Baptist. It was beautiful and moving, as always and did a great job of reminding us what Christmas is all about. After church, we headed home to prepare for the 3rd annual Christmas Eve homemade pizza extravaganza. We have really loved this tradition because who wouldn’t love good food and good company?
Jolly Old St. Nicholas
We waited and waited and waited...
…and waited some more to see Santa Claus
…and someone slept right through it!

Christmas at Timmerman
Gingerbread House Fiasco
...soooo our annual tradition of decorating a gingerbread house did not end in a pretty sight. Halfway through decorating the roof, it fell into shambles. We had to chuck our first attempt and use a pre-assembled one for the second attempt. I did not even manage to get a picture of the new one, but here is the first in all it’s glory!
We saw several people at Target with the same faulty kit in their buggies after our tragic event. Maddie and I were tempted to tell them to put it back!
Alabama
As part of our residency interview tour we made a trip to Birmingham, Alabama. Mimi (Harrison's mom) has family there so we took advantage of our trip and spent several days with them. Mimi and Grandaddy (Harrison's dad) came along. Madison was thrilled to meet all of her sweet cousins and we loved introducing Madison and Bragan to them all.
